Chain maille is the practice of linking rings together in different patterns to create flexible metal which was originally used for armour or decoration. Modern chain maille is used to create beautiful jewellery in different weaves. The size and thickness of rings can provide many different looks from very fine to chunky, These sterling silver chain maille earrings are made in half Byzantine and connecting circles. They hang from handmade sterling silver earwires and have good movement. You will find these earrings great for every day wear or for more dressy occasions.
There are two different lengths available. Long earrings measure approx 3.5cm with overall drop of approx 5cm. The short style measures approx 2cm with an overall drop of approx 3.5cm. They are comprised of rings measuring 5cm,6cm and 7cm in diameter.
All our earrings are handcrafted in our studio in Scotland and, as a small business we don’t hold large quantities of stock. It is possible to backorder but please allow additional time for us to make them.
